God’s kingdom comes to people like us.
It stretches into remote mountain villages tucked across the globe and extends to crowded cities, all flashing lights and noise.
It gives birth in the youngest and oldest of souls. Not bound by earthly limits nor confined by time and space. It stretches beyond what finite man expects, breathing the possible into impossible situations.
Wherever a heart yearns for God’s presence, His kingdom comes.
Divine hand stretches to sow this seed of faith into every “yes” spoken to His Spirit. This otherworldly realm plants itself, right here in willing souls reaching.
It stretches with grace and expands with power to rule the heart and thoughts with love incomparable. This culmination of truth and mercy meets in the depths of a soul set free and commissions us to share its good news.
The kingdom is within you, beloved.
Stretch out your hands toward heaven and watch it grow.
Then stretch out your hands to your fellowman and watch it grow there, too, as you bring a bit of heaven to earth today.

This is such a beautiful post. This >> “The kingdom is within you, beloved. Stretch out your hands toward heaven and watch it grow.” May His Kingdom grow in me as I stretch out my hands today!

What a wonderful reminder and encouragement – to stretch out our hands!

Gotta bring some Heaven
to the Earth today,
make it my life’s leaven,
and thereby earn my pay,
not like the timid employee
putting single talent in the ground;
no, I’ll take the given glory
and spread it all around,
for it’s mortal sin to hoard
the grace Christ died to give,
so I will keep heart pointed toward
what I need to live,
to be the conduit for love
through, not ‘to’ me, from above.

Thank you for the encouragement to stretch out my hands towards the giver of every good thing

I love this! “It gives birth in the youngest and oldest of souls. Not bound by earthly limits nor confined by time and space. It stretches beyond what finite man expects, breathing the possible into impossible situations.
Wherever a heart yearns for God’s presence, His kingdom comes.”
So true. His kingdom is not limited by the things that limit us.
Thanks for the reminder. Your FMF neighbour at #36
