Hi, I’m Barbara, and I’m glad you’re here.
No, really. Whatever led you here, I hope this is a place where you feel welcome. Where you can rest a bit and catch a few God-breaths for your soul. I hope you discover some sort of connection here and know you are not alone. That it’s okay to be a work in progress and not have all the answers. By the way, if you’re looking for someone who does, now’s probably the time to warn you that your search here will be futile.
While I do not have all the answers, I want to reassure you how much you matter to this world. Your life counts. Your story is important and needs to be shared with the people around you. So here’s to stumbling upon some holy whispers as we look for truth and hope together.
Together. That’s a pretty incredible word. And it’s what I invite you to experience with me. Let’s walk this path together as we wrestle with doubts and fears and everyday issues that threaten to undo us even as we grasp at handfuls of grace in the mundane and the miraculous.
Above all, I pray this is a safe space where your heart can connect to a Father whose love is infinitely greater than our wildest imaginings.
As an aside, I’m an editor, caterer, wife/mama/grandma, and fledgling writer. I love my hubby and family and taking long walks through the countryside of rural Ohio. I’m glad you’ve joined me on this journey.
